Holiday Program

Every term break, Creative Crayon Montessori Preschool organizes a weeklong Holiday Camp. The activities, which include fun field trips, incorporate Montessori principles, educate the child and explore the world outside the classroom. The children learn many things about their community, culture and life skills as well as having a lot of fun in the process.

Most recently in December 2010, we visited the High 5 Bread Town, a bread museum in Shah Alam. Students saw the large-scale process of bread making and learnt several fun facts about the history of bread through the interactive tour. Upon arriving at our preschool after the visit, the students made bread dough and talked about their experience in the museum.

In June 2010, we visited the National Science Centre in Bukit Kiara. The children were shown exhibits on electricity, magnetism, biology and many others. Key concepts of science such as Archimedes Principle and gravity were explained to the students. The students also paid a visit to the National Planetarium where they explored the wonders of the universe and learnt many things about astronomy..During the week, the children also conducted several scientific experiments and Do It Yourself projects. Above all, a love and interest for the sciences was instilled in the children.

In addition to the above, we have brought our students to other interesting places.
